Toyota has recently unveiled the news that it is now arriving at dealerships in China. To enhance its legs into China. GAC-Toyata has done a joint venture to conceptualize its aim. Bozhi is a new energy vehicle sub-brand under the GAC-Toyota joint venture in China.
Bozhi, a sub brand of the GAC-Toyota launched its first electric SUV in November. And now the brand comes with the Bozhi 4X and an upgraded version bZ4X. A more comfortable and electric SUV, positioned as a medium-sized SUV. Built on the same e-TNGA platform, the 4X model measures 4,690 mm long, 1,860 mm wide and 1,650 mm tall, exactly the same as the Toyota’s bZ4X model.
The upcoming EV features a hammer shark-style front face with multi-eye LED lights, 66.7 kWh ternary lithium-ion-battery pack offering up to 615 km (382 miles) CLTC range. Further inside the EV you will find a 12.3-inch navigation(according to the trim) with included facial recognition. Also wireless charging, a flexible interior for storage and enough physical buttons are also provided.
The brand also said that 4X supports the three major platforms for connectivity in China, that include Apple CarPlay, Baidu CatLife+ and HUAWEI HiCar.
The new model presented by Toyota is a collaboration with Subaru. They teamed up to introduce “X-MODE”. It is a new four-wheel drive off-road model for EVs. The new EV features the latest safety tech like intelligent lane tracking, predictive driving mode and more other futuristic features.
There are four trim options available in electric SUV. The standard version 615 Air will cost 179,800 yuan, featuring an 8-inch display screen, Toyota smart cockpit, driving assist features and connectivity. The next is 615 Pro that offers high-grade leather seats, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, a panoramic monitoring system etc., in the price of 199,800 yuan ($28,000).\
And the highest four-wheel drive 560 Max includes X-mode four-wheel drive, grip-controlled crawling mode, smart wireless charging and intelligent park assist.
