Onewheel Unveils Premium Off-Road Electric Board for Adventure Seekers

As the market of electric vehicles is expanding with exceptional potential, there are too many automakers from different spectrums that are trying to capture it. In this scenario Onewheel is now coming with it’s unique way. Known for its unconventional innovation the company has launched its latest edition, the new Onewheel GT-S Series Rally Edition.

You are familiar with the four-wheel skateboards as a standard but now ready for the unique versional of the skateboard. Justifying it’s name Onewheel is offering a self-balancing board with only a single wheel. There is a big size pneumatic tire in the center of the board. As it offers the unique riding experience with self-balancing features of a old-school Segway with the stance of a skateboard.

Future Motion said that the company behind the Onewheel is Recurve Rails. It is developed in collaboration with the Onewheel Factory Pro Team, utilize a new asymmetric rail geometry to offer improved control and leverage without sacrificing clearance to handle the most rugged terrain and the steepest gradients.”

The centrally fitted large wheel makes it one of the most popular for riding on trails and other off-road scenarios. The new Onewheel GT-S Series Rally Edition features a new 6-inch central hub motor offering increased tire volume, a higher performance tire, and a new feature known as Recurve Rails.

Features unique onewheel high-performance skating experience this new skating board also comes with premium pricing as it starts at $3,500 in U.S. Further the existing  6.5-inch hub motor with a lower-cost version will retail for US $3,200. Also for existing GT S-Series owners, the brand is also offering a factory service replacement to upgrade their boards with Recure rails for US $450, including shipping and installation.

Another great news of the fans is that Future Motion has also announced a US $300 price reduction to the original GT S-Series along with the Rally Edition launch, at price of US $2,900.

Director of Marketing Jack Mudd has also described, “ Early in S-Series production , we were shipping parts next-day air to our factory to get boards built in time to keep pace with demand. Now that we’ve got the S-Series in mass production, we’re able to pass some savings along to our riders. It is the dream riding experience and was worth every penny at $3,200, and now at $2,900, it’s even greater value.”
