Day by Day the electric vehicles sales are breaking the records. As the recent estimate shows that the growing sustainable transportation demand rises the sales of Electric Vehicles. Data in global plugin vehicle registrations shows that the sales of last month were very close to breaching the previous sales records.
Data shows that in October the total EV sales was 1,279,00 units. Also the share of plug-in vehicles was 17% of the overall auto market. That shows how the market is changing with the adoption of the new and fast technical development of electric vehicle technology. Further the overall share of the EV could be more if the overall market hadn’t been affected by the Covid.
Deep clarification of the data revealed that the full electric vehicles(BEV) shares 12% of overall EV sales. That is growing 33% year by year and represents 68% of plug-in registrations in october.
Considering the Plugin hybrid, they performed even better, growing 46% in comparison to October 2022. This could happen due to the range-extended models that are now popping up everywhere in China. If we take out the Chinese ev market from the data, PHEV grew just 11% year by year.
