VinFast, a Vietnamese EV maker, came to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) with its new concept of VF Wild Electric Trucks. This new concept was jointly developed by VinFast and australian design studio Gomitiv. And is the direct competitor to the Tesla Cybertruck, Rivian RT1 and Ford F-150 this new concept will thrive in the market in 2025.
At this event Tran Mai Hoa, Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing at VinFast Global said, “We are very proud to introduce the VF Wild concept, which encapsulates our mission to make sustainable, high-quality electric vehicles accessible to a broader market. This is not just a new product in our offering — it showcases our aspiration to venture into the fast-paced and thriving electric pickup truck market.”
According to VinFast, the VF wild exemplifies its “commitment to broadening its product range and promoting sustainable mobility by making smart, safe, exciting electric vehicles accessible to everyone adding that the concept highlights VinFast’s innovative efforts to create a pickup truck with exceptional performance, catering to the new generation of consumers looking for innovation and eco-friendliness without compromising on performance and durability.”
The brand is coming with it’s brand’s new electric vehicle concept “Wild”. According to the designers, the name envisions a future where electric mobility is universally accessible and suitable to difficult terrain. It is a rugged and futuristic electric vehicle with a muscular stance. Also a standout set of alloy wheels, chiseled lines, a prominent front grille and the proprietary VF headlights with finisher makes this pickup a robust look.
VF Wild Electric Pickup comes in the US mid-size pickup category with a full length of 209 inches and a width of 79 inches. Also VinFast said that this size is as an efficiently packaged footprint” that can change with its unique “flexible bed size” feature. The VF Wild’s design is based on the unique idea of “Fluid Dynamism.” Inspired by the flowing motion of a superhero’s cape in the wind, which gives this electric pickup an aesthetic configuration.
In a press release VinFast says, “With the functionality of the expanding bed, work and play can be done in style and comfort. The design also integrates a panoramic glass roof and digital side mirrors to improve aerodynamics.” With its Wild series of electric vehicle brands VInFast encourages its customers to break the chain of routine pickup and go into the beauty of nature.
