Scout SUV and Truck (Expected: 2026)
After taking a long nap, Volkswagen is now ready to bring back its Scout nameplate for the upcoming electric vehicle lineup. A glimpse of the image from the official shows what the two vehicles might look like. That shows a tough-looking design inspired by the original Scout, made by International Harvester back in the 60s and 70s. The details about range and power is still not disclosed but the speculation is that Scout will ofer around 400 miles on a full charge and a power output of around 300 hp.IF talking about price so the Scout CEO said that the SUV will cost nearly $40,000. VW is serious about this project and hinting at a new dedicated platform. Also a dedicated facility in South Carolina with an investment of $2 Billion is set up to manufacture approx. 200,000 vehicles annually, Also it is expected that the production is set to commence in 2026.
