Mini Cooper Electric (Expected: 2025)
The classic Mini Cooper is getting a big upgrade for 2025. The debut of Cooper Electric at the 2023 IAA auto show alongside the Mini Countryman Electric in Germany is another venture of the automaker. The two-door new electric hatchback is featured with the updated styling, super premium interior with a larger battery pack than the previous-generation model. Along that Mini will provide options, including a single-motor, front-wheel-drive model, a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive variant with 313 horsepower, and later, an electric John Cooper Works performance edition.
Also a test drive in Austria showcased that the upcoming electric cooper will keep the lively driving feel of traditional Minis, and it can even drift around corners thanks to a clever computer system. Company already showcased the glimpse of its sleek modern exterior design but the Copper EV is scheduled for a 2025 release.
