Fiat 500e (Expected: 2024)
Fiat is ready to reintroduce its 500 hatchback in an electric version. The new 500e offers three different drive modes- Normal, Range and Sherpa with separately increasingly aggressive range-preserving behavior. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s retro model. The new car features a 117-horsepower electric motor and a battery that gives it a range of around 160 miles per charge. That can be a drawback for the Fiat 500e as the larger and more luxurious electric vehicles routinely boast over 200 miles of driving range with the price tag of $34,095 that goes up to $37,595 with the selected option and trim.
The EV also has a large 10.3 inch touchscreen infotainment system installed in the car. The other features are a 7.0-inch digital gauge display, wireless smartphone charging pad, in-dash navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and many more. For safety Fiat has provide an optional advance adaptive cruise control with lane-centering feature with other standard safety and Driver-Assistance features. However the Fiat is aimed to target primarily the urban areas, where drivers are less likely to demand extensive range for long road trips. As per company the U.S. launch is set for November 2023, and you can expect to see it in dealerships by early 2024.
