If you are looking for a more sporty VW, here is good news for you. Recently Volkswagen added three new ID.3 trims in their row. The presenting trim will include a be more sporty, a more powerful and a more lower-priced model.
VW has launched its ID.3 in 2019 with the title to be the first fully Volkswagen’s first electric vehicle based on the MEB platform. As per the last year statics the brand has sold nearly 140,800 ID.3 models, which resulted in making it the VW Group’s second best-selling EV combined with ID.4 and ID.5.
Also an updated version of the ID.3 has been launched by the Volkwagen earlier this month to keep the pace of the newer and more tech friendly EVs. Now the major update has been done by the brand in this row. Includes new software and infotainment including ChatGPT has been introduced. Also it includes a new system featuring a larger touchscreen with an improved design.
The new ID.3 (Pro S) come with stronger and more efficient motors that produce standard 228 hp (170kW) and go up to 374 miles (550 km) WLTP range. It also features a faster charging speeds with up to 157 kW DC charging capacity, added batter preconditioning, enhanced augmented reality head-up display, a redesigned Wellness app, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system.
VW has recently launched the eID.3 GTX variant of the EV in March and the ID.3 S earlier this month. The other variants are the ID.3 Pure that has been already lauded pre-sales, the ID.3 GTX as a new sporty flagship, the Pro S as the most powerful variant yet.

The new entry-level ID.3 Pure join the lineup as the most affordable model features 125 kW (168 hp) motor and 52 kWh lithium-ion-battery that offers up to 241 miles (388 km) WLTP range.
The new ID.3 Pure is the new base model, starting at around $40,000 (€36,900) in Germany (including VAT). Meanwhile, the Pro S starts at roughly $51,550 (€47,595), while the sporty GTX will cost at least $55,000 (€50,795), including VAT.
