Jeep Wrangler EV (Expected: 2028)
Jeep is willing to launch an all-electric version of the famous Wrangler, an off road SUV. Presently Jeep offers a plug-in hybrid version of the Wrangler 4xe. But the Jeep gave a glimpse of a fully electric model known as Magneto concept during the Easter Jeep Safari. Featured with a regular two-door Wrangler Rubicon on the outside, but beneath the surface, it’s packing four battery packers putting out a total of 285 horsepower. The new Jeep Wrangler EV is expected to ride on the parent company Stellantis’s STLA large platform.
Here is a cool part that Jeep shared a video where the Wrangler EV takes a group on a hiking trip and then autonomously drives itself to the trail’s end to pick them up. The production plans of the company suggest that the all-electric Wrangler is set to debut in 2028, coinciding with the end of the current generation. Additionally, a plug-in hybrid model with a range extender is slated to join the lineup.
Jeep Recon (Expected: 2024)
Excited about the idea of an all-electric Jeep Wrangler? Well, the upcoming Recon isn’t exactly that, but it’s pretty close. Jeep says it’s gonna have “impressive” clearances for off-roading, and removal glass and doors. Plus, there’s a retractable roof and a spare tire in the back of SUV for that classic Wrangler feel. The Recon’s got some real trail-rated chops with chunky tires and underbody protection. Locking diffs will help make the most out of the all-wheel-drive powertrain it’s sure to have. We don’t have the details on power or range yet, but Stellantis claimed the electric off road featured in the jeep could go 500 miles on a charge which is extraordinary if true. It is expected that the Jeep Recon begins production in 2024.
Jeep Wagoneer S (Expected: 2024)
IF you get bored with the traditional Jeep Grand Cherokee so the new an all -electric Jeep Wagoneer S is surely a promising alternative. As Jeep hadn’t revealed the many details of it’s upcoming mid-size SUV including actual name. The identical name “Wagoneer S” is just a temporary one. Launch on the Stellantis’s STLA Large architecture, Jeep has promised that it will feature 600 horsepower and accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds. Also Jeep states that the final model is expected to have a range of 400 miles but the figure will very in EPA an WLTP test cycles. At present we only have a few glances of this stylish designed concept and some exciting goals. All of this, along with more information, will be disclosed before the Wagoneer S begins production, likely around 2024.
