GMC Sierra EV (Expected: Early 2024)
After the Hummer EV pickup and SUV, GMC Sierra EV is ready to come with its first an all-electric pickup truck. The Sierra EV shares its foundation with the bold GMC Hammer EV but it is toning it down a bit. As the Sierra EV scheduled to launch in early 2024, and joins it’s cousin Chevy Silverado EV in GM’s growing electric truck portfolio. Featuring exclusively the Denali Edition 1, this top-tier model boasts a robust 754-horsepower all-wheel-drive powertrain, providing an estimated range of 400 miles. Also the luxuries feature like a large portrait-style touchscreen, GM’s Super Cruise hands- free driver-assist technology and quilted leather seats make it expensive from its counterpart, pricing nearly $109,000. Fortunately, more affordable Sierra EV variants are slated to hit the market in 2025.
2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup
GMC has introduced a more affordable version of its Hummer Pickup – 2024 GMC Hummer EV pickup, brand’s electric supertruck. The pickup comes with two battery options. A standard 20-module pack with an EPA estimated driving range of 311 miles- 381 miles. Another one is a 24-module battery that GMC claims provides up to 381 miles of range. However the Extreme Off-Road package reduces that estimate to 359 miles. White connective to a DC fast-charger, it reached a peak charging range of 287-kW. GMC claims the Hummer EV pickup will add 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes. Hummer offers pickup of either two or three electric motors. Both configurations come with all-wheel drive Where dual-motor setup produced 570 hp, the tri-motor has 1000hp.
Hummer EV pickup is a three motor model with its standard 22-inch wheels has an EPA-rated 58 MPGe combined. Further the maximum towing capacity of the pickup is a stout 12,000 pounds with 570-hp dual-motor powertrain, that is more than the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Rivian R1T. Notable features include the Watts to Freedom launch-control mode, five-foot bed, height-adjustable air suspension, and Super Cruise hands-free driving. Interior features a large 13.4-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and removable roof panels , wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot and GM’s OnStar telematics system. The price of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup starts at $98,845 that increases according to the trim and option up to $106,945
