Genesis’s GV70 and Electrified GV70 is one of the brand’s best-selling EV in North America that is now getting updates to become more advanced. It is an impressive SUV of the brand that has now become more stylish, added features and a refined interior. Let’s get into the first look of the upgraded interior of the new Genesis.
Genesis unveiled the refreshed Electrified GV70 at the LA Auto Show two weeks ago, showcasing the refined design updates and enhanced features both inside and out for the electric SUV.
Ahead of its upcoming deliveries, we’re getting an early look at the refreshed interior of the Genesis Electrified GV70. A new video from HealerTV highlights the updated interior design, offering a glimpse into the enhancements Genesis has made to elevate the electric SUV’s appeal.
You can see there is a massive 27-inches OLED display at the center of EV. The EV version features a different feature from the gas-powered GV70, that includes an added ambient mood and a marble-like design on the door panels. Also the second row also gains ambient lighting and what appears to be a touchscreen for the heat and air controls.
As per Claudia Márquez, chief operating officer of Genesis Motor North America, the new Electrified GV70 offers “all of the utility and interior refinement of a great SUV without sacrificing the fun-to-drive character that Genesis vehicles are known for.”
The updated Electrified GV70 not only has a lavish interior or clean look. Even there is a bigger battery (84 kWh) up from 77.4 kWh in the previous model. It is also expected to feature more driving range.
Another noticeable thing is the revamped front end with a redesigned G-Matrix Grille. The charge port is now in the grille and comes exclusively with an NACS port that unlocks access to Tesla’s Supercharger Network.
While specific details haven’t been revealed, the updated Genesis Electrified GV70 is anticipated to gain a slight range increase, similar to the improvements seen in the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5, which now offers up to 318 miles of range with its larger battery compared to 303 miles previously.
Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the EV’s expected arrival at US dealerships in the first half of 2025.
