The Electric Vehicles market is going to rapidly transform with the new tech and business model. To make the EV adoption easy automakers are coming with unique plans. To make EV micro lease a reality, Polestar launched its Flexible Lease Program in October. The new lease option eliminates the vehicle locked system from the leasing vehicle process.

This new option is not only restricted to Polestar. Also AutoNation, which runs around 250 recently began offering micro leases in 6- or 12- month options .Ivan Mihov, Vice President of mobility said, “With EVs in particular, obviously, there are a lot of people on the fence,”. He added,“ The three-year lease doesn’t work for everybody.’ The short-term lease option allows buyers to try EV before committing to long-term contact.

Although the short-term car lease is not a new concept in the mobility market, it’s being re-introduces with the auto industry shifts to electric.

The brand is committed to make electric mobility consumer friendly for the following program is a great way, Flexible Lease Program provides customers an option to end lease after five months and five payments with no early termination penalty.

“With the Polestar Flexible Lease program, I’m proud to say we are making it even easier for customers to experience our fully electric performance vehicles, These new terms allow U.S. customers to lease a Polestar vehicle with the flexibility not normally permitted by a traditional lease, making it a great option for customers who are new to EVs or those looking to bridge the gap as they await a Polestar 2, Polestar 3 or Polestar 4 on order.”

Gregor Hembrough, Head of Polestar North America ,

Through the program, the 2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor variant features up to 320 miles of range and 205 kW DC fast charging is available to lease with $5,349 due at signing and for $349per month for up to 24 months.
