Honda has officially launched the all-electric N-Van e, another significant step in its commitment to electrification. Especially designed for urban mobility and small business use, combining practicality with eco-friendly performance, this coming electric van is set to hit the market in 2024.
As it is evident, Honda has been testing the particular model domestically over the past year or so and finally on Thursday, it announced it will begin selling the electric N-VAN in Japan on October 10, 2024. Its new electric N-Van will start at $15,500 as it looks to ramp up EV sales.
Honda has upgraded the N-VAN e with more features and accessibility, exclusively for the electric model. The N-VAN e maintains the versatile design of the gas-powered N-VAN featuring a spacious interior and flexible seating arrangements to accommodate various cargo needs.
The electric N-VAN e is equipped with a powerful electric motor that offers a range suitable for daily urban commutes and business operations. Other features include a flat, low floor and high ceiling with the battery mounted under the floor. Honda is also eliminating the center pillar to make the passenger side opening larger.
It will come in four variants that are perfectly designed to meet a wide range of customer needs, including commercial and personal use.The standard model e:L4 offers four seats and a 7-inches LCD screen to display key information. It is designed for a wide range of uses.
The electric vans are integrated with smart features to offer seamless connectivity options to the buyers. In this row the e:FUN model features “styling that blends in well with customers’ hobbies and leisure activities.” It offers additional features such as fast charging and LED headlights as standard.

Further the e-G is designed for commercial use. It is a one seat EV that is built for deliveries of other business use. The last e:L2 N-VAN model features several configurations. With seats and the center pillar removed that makes loading and unloading from EV easy.
Compared to the gas-powered N-VAN, the electric model is 95 mm longer, white the floor height was lowered by 120 m. It also has Honda’s latest safety technologies, such as collision mitigation braking and adaptive cruise control that ensures a safe drive in a city environment.
It is expected that Honda will price the electric van with a competitive price to make it an attractive option for small business and urban drivers, who are looking for an affordable EV. The e:G and e;L2 models will only be available to lease through Honda Fleet Sales Division and the Honda ON. Or the brand has planned or full-fledged sales of the new electric N-VAN e in Japan on October 10, 2024.
