Geely has unveiled its newest Panda Mini EV in the popular and boxy Panda family. It will be the third in the row after the Panda Mini and Panda Knight that launched in China last year. It is the four-seater Kart that has a sporty top tail wing that makes it look like a go-kart.
It is a small EV with 3150 x 1540 x 1685 mm with a 2015 mm wheelbase with the sporty-cute factor on its latest Panda to capture the youth market. The sleek look of EV with black paint with purple stripey trim and purple-and-white rims. Also the round headlights and choice of pink or white interior complete the Kart’s cartoonish feet.
Other highlighted features of the Panda Kart are a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous 30 KW motor and 81.1lb-ft of torque. Considering battery specs or the range of super cute EV you have to wait till the announcement by Geely. As it is not disclosed, but the brand said it supports normal and sport driving modes and is capable of 22kW DC fast charging and 3.3kW AC slow charging.
Also the interior of the EV has plenty to excite young drivers, with an 8-inch central control screen and a 9.2-inch LCD instrument panel. It comes with a central control screen that supports wireless connection, voice control, navigation, and multimedia entertainment. It also has the great feature of remotely opened and locked and temperature control via a smartphone. The knob between the seats is the shift mechanism.
It may be slightly kooky, but it still sports sensible features such as uphill assist, reversing image with track line, reversing radar, electric power steering, anti-lock brakes, and EBD.
As you hadn’t got to know about the pricing of the Panda Mini Go Kart Edition as the brand has not been revealed yet, but it is speculative that it will be an affordable one. The pricing of the previous EVs like Panda Mini is $5,500 (39,900 yuan), and the Panda Knight is $7,410(53,900).
