Motowatt, an electric motorbike startup of French brothers Henri and Olivier Rabatel, is aiming to make urban commuter life easy with the development of an innovative electric two-wheeler. This time Motowatt introduces the W1X, a unique electric motorcycle with a focus on safe and efficient urban mobility. It will be a very new experience to ride W1X that we don’t normally see on electric two-wheelers.
It Comes with rugged steel frame and an interesting cantilever-type front suspension system that amaze the riders with its high performance. Motowatt says that they make use of efficient manufacturing practices by using common components and processes to streamline their production. It is a carbon-neutral machine that will be produced near Figen in Southwestern France.
W1X’s Specs, Tech and Further Details
The W1X, Motowatt is a perfectly designed bike for the practical and user friendly city commuter. The tech and features of the bike is suitable for A1 and B licence holders. It offers a great promising range of 130 kilometres (81 miles) on a single charge. To make the bike powerful and high performative two motors are fitted in them one n each wheel. That ensures that the vehicle will get optimum traction and stability on all road conditions.
Apart from the startup is ensuring that costumes could tailor fit the W1X to their specific needs. In that line one can modify its W1X with practical accessories such as a tank box, rear luggage case, and EMC adjustable shock absorbers to account for the added weight of cargo. Also the braking system fitted in it is upgraded to fancy components from Beringer, and there’s the option of fitting bigger wheels and tires.
This motor two- wheel electric vehicle will come with a starting price tag of $16,152 (15,000 euros), It seems quite hefty but to that price you pay to be a pioneer of new tech and features. If you are concerned about when you will get that so don’t worry Motowatt says that deliveries of the new motorcycle will start in January 2025.
