The 2025 Ray EV has been recently officially launched by the KIA in Korea. This will come with the same low starting price of under $21,000, though the new EV model features some additional features. The great thing is that with prevailing incentives and offers, the entry-level electric car can be bought for as little as $15,000(20 million won).
Kia has revive the New KIA Ray as an entry-level EV last year. Company has opening the pre-orders of the EV last August, starting at around $20,500 (27.35 million won). The data showed that the Kia Ray EV secured over 6,000 reservations in less than a month.
Kia has said that all the 2025 Ray EV trims include its Drive Wise II and Style packages. The Drive Wise package includes several new ADAS features, like safe exit warning and bling-spot collision avoidance assist.
The EV comes with high-end safety and convenience specifications preferred by consumers. Features with Forward Collision Prevention Assistance, Lane Maintenance Assistance, Cruise Control, LED Daylight and many more.
The Style upgrade features projection headlights, LED rear combination lamps, and many more modern features to make the EV compatible. There is a comfortable indoor environment for customers, with a 35.2 kWh battery. That make the eclectic mini car run up to 127 miles (205 km) in Korea. In the city, it can get up to 145 miles (233 km).
Pricing for the 1-seater Light trim is about $21,500,however the 4-seater Light starts at $21,000 (27.75 million won), while the 2-seater model starts at $20,700 (27.45 million won).
