BYD is one of the giant automaker companies of China, Just like Tesla of America. Now the introduction of BYD latest EV in North America seen as a direct competitor of Tesla Model 3.

BYD’s SEAL sedan will come in two versions : RWD or four wheel drive. Featuring a unique double U-shaped light cluster with stereo effect, 15.6 inch rotated multimedia touch screen the cost of both models will start at $44,600 for RWD and $51,000 for four wheel drive.
While the RWD model is provided with a 150kW rear motor and 61.44 kWh LFP Blade battery that offers range up to 286 miles. The AWD model is powered by a 390 kW power with a 82.56 kWh LFP Blade battery that offers 323 miles of WLTP range.
On the contrary Tesla Model 3 offers 396 miles of WLTP range at a cost of $50,000. However, the AWD version starts at $56,500 while the performance one costs $66,100.
The increasing market of BYD indicates the company’s journey to be champion of the global EV market. As the BYD comes close to Tesla in worldwide sales. Also the company last month sales topped the Nissan for the first time. But how the EV hit the U.S market is still a speculation.
