Velocifero, a renowned Italian company that has specialization in scooter and small-cylinder motorcycles. Recently entered the world of electric motorcycles with its new innovations and technology. The Company recently announced its new electric scooter–Tennis-E, known as a stylish and versatile electric scooter.
After introducing its early innovations, like the most exciting one Race-X in EICMA 2023. The brand is now ready to jump into the electric scooter market to target the urban commuter.
Took inspiration from the retro-inspired scooter, Velocifero offers its Tennis-E a new age electric scooter.The new EV is based on 125 gasoline-powered scooter, but an electric motor took the place of the internal combustion engine for a silent and emission free ride.
Talking about the style of the Tennis-E, it can’t be neglected that Velocifero was founded by an Italian designer Alessandro Tartarine. That clarifies the brand’s serious commitment to the design. While keeping a retro look, the Tennis-E features a front mudguard and wheel covers in the color of the fairing. Dual-optic headlight and full-LED DRLs incorporated in the design gives a modern touch to the electric scooter.
The Velocifero Tennis-E took the power from the two removal lithium-ion-battery packs with a combined capacity of 2.99 kilowatt-hours. That offers a choice to the rider to save weight while running the scooter with one battery for short distance. Also the battery can get fully charged within the four hours of charging and combinedly provides 80 km of range in a single charge.
Tennis-E took the power from a permanent magnet motor hushed in the rear wheel. That pumps out three kilowatts of normal output with peaks of five kilowatts. It also generates 6.7 horsepower just like the 125cc gas-powered scooter. Velcifero also claims a175Nm (129.5 pound-feet) of torque from this electric motor. The Tennis-E also offers the three ride modes to the riders – Eco, Comfort and Sport with a top speed of 85 km/h.
Velcifero says that the Tennis-E will thrive in the market with its stylish and comfortable riding early of 2024. But when it comes to pricing and availability the company has yet to announce
