Chrysler Airflow Concept (Expected: 2025)
Airflow is another great electric vehicle concept launched by Chrysler that will run on a new EV platform from Chrysler’s parent company, Stellantis known as STLA Medium. This great EV concept Chrysler Airflow is the automaker’s one of the expensive EV product plans. The 2025 Chrysler Airflow will enter the market with the starting price tag of $50,000 that will go high to $60,000 as per available trim and options.
Eyeing the triumph of the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Chrysler is gearing up to launch a crossover with a 400-mile range by 2025. Although the Airflow is currently in the conceptual stage, it’s purported to include Level 3 autonomous driving capability. Further the upcoming compact crossover will likely ride on a new EV platform from Chrysler’s parent company, Stellanties known a STLA medium. Recent release of new battery technologies by the company figures that the Airflow could achieve 440 miles. Concept Airflow is provided with dual-motor setup with electric motors front and rear, each providing 201 horsepower. It is also expected that a single-motor setup with either front- or rear-wheel drive will likely be standard, with this optional dual-motor setup providing all-wheel drive. The company has provided only few details about the EV but for pricing you need to keep your eyes on news. When Airflow comes in reality it will be the rival to the Tesla Model Y, the Volvo XC40 Recharge and other electric SUV’s.
2028 Chrysler Halcyon (Expected : 2028)
2028 Chrysler Halcyon will be an all-new model for the Chrysler lineup. It is a futuristic electric sedan concept. Sharing inspiration with Porsche Taycan the Halcyon has some unique features like rear coach doors indeed at the back and flip-up roof panel, cabin with al bucket seats. As there is no official statement on the range estimated but Chrysler says it is participating in the development of an emerging battery technology that uses lithium-sulfur cells and an 800-volt architecture. Here Chrysler also says that utilizing the battery with 200 miles of range could theoretically be done in just five minutes on the right fast charger.
The interior of Halcyon will be good for four people. Some unique features include a wing-back designed bucket seats, retracted rear seat etc. It also has a separate 15.6 inch display that pops up out of the center console, AI voice assistant, Halcyon Concept’s glass canopy doubles as an augmented reality display. The brand hasn’t said much about driver-assistance features but once it said that the car was designed with hands- free driving in mind. But we can expect the standard features like automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, semi-autonomous driving mode, adaptive cruise control etc. This futuristic modern 2028 Chrysler Halcyon will start with a price nearly $60,000 that goes with the trim and options to $70,000.
