BMW Introduces New App Feature to Highlight the Simplicity of Driving an EV

It is a great new for the BMW owners as the brands has introduced it’s updated app that includes a unique new electric vehicles analysis tool. It help the drivers to use real driving data or also shows how an EV would have performed on the same trip if you go with a gas-powered car.

BMW’s new electric vehicles analysis tool allows the drives with a combustion engine to see how an EV would perform on the same trip. To use the new tool, you can have to simply pick the BMW EV model you want to “test out” in the app.

The new added features by BMW is designed to show ICE derives that EV range is smore than enough for most drives on their daily routes. In addition to that the best part is that you wake up every day with a full charger if charging at home.

BMW’s senior VP of sales steering and strategy, Dirk Wiedmann explained, “Electric vehicles can already to incorporated perfectly into the daily routine of many customers – it’s just that the majority of them haven’t tired it yet”.

The app is getting the real-world data to provide the most accurate results for their users. BMW plans to upgrade the features over the time with info on specific charging spots an charger times. It will also help you find nearby amenities like coffee shops or grocery stores.

Also with the EV analysis features you must drive a BMW combustion engine with its Operating System 7 or later. Now with app driver can manage their payments in the new charging Wallet. Once a charging spot is selected, it will show the price and availability just like Tesla.
