There is great news from Lucid Motors (LCID), finally the first Gravity Electric SUV rolled off the production line at its Casa Grande plant in Arizona on Thursday.
The first pre-production models were built at Lucid’s factory in July, but these are the first customer models officially ready for delivery.
Lucid posted a video on the social media of the Gravity electric SUV rolling off the assembly line in Arizona. The EV maker said its”groundbreaking SUV” is now officially in production in Arizona.
The Lucid Gravity marks “the dawn of a new era for electric SUVs,” boasting an impressive driving range of over 440 miles. This three-row electric SUV offers up to 120 cubic feet of cargo space, providing ample room for you, six passengers, and their luggage, combining luxury with practicality.
Last month the brand opened its Gravity SUV orders. The first model, the Gravity Grand Touring, is available to order starting at $94,900.
The Lucid Gravity’s “under $80,000” Touring model is set to hit the market in late 2025, with a starting price of $79,900.CEO Peter Rawlinson said the Gravity “representing a significant leap forward for Lucid’s world-leading technology and design.”
As per Rawlinson the electric SUV’s battery pack is “a little more than half the size of some of our battery-hungry competitors,” Even the EV model will boost over 400 miles of driving range.
The Gravity is Lucid’s second EV to enter production, following the Air sedan. While Air sales have fallen short of initial expectations, Lucid recently achieved its third consecutive quarter of record deliveries, signaling positive momentum.
With the Gravity now part of its lineup, Lucid aims to carry its momentum into the coming year. In 2026, the company plans to introduce a new midsize EV platform. According to CEO Peter Rawlinson, the first model—a midsize electric SUV—will target the core market dominated by the Tesla Model Y.
