Maserati Grecale Folgore (Expected: Late 2023)
The 2025 Maserati Grecale Folgore is a new addition in the line of Maserati and marks the second electric model of the lineup. The upcoming Grecale Folgore is an electric version of the brand new Grecale SUV. All Maserati EVs will carry the name Folgore, which translates to “lightning” in Italian. The Grecale Folgore has some unique attractive exterior styling from its gasoline version. That is the unique grille treatment and stylish Folgore-specific wheel designs. But the details of Folgore’s propulsion system are limited. The 2025 Folgore comes with two electric motors that combine for 550 horsepower. All-wheel drive is a standard variant, and paddle shifters on the steering wheel allow the driver to switch between four different regenerative braking modes on the fly.
The Grecale Folgore is equipped with a large 105.0-kWh capacity battery pack. As the company hasn’t said anything about the fringe range estimation but it is estimated that Grecale Folgore could offer up to 255 miles per charge with that battery pack. Looking at the interior of Maserati Grecale Folgore, it is designed classy and upscale with details that make it feel borderline special. To make it EV tech friendly Masertai has provided a reconfigurable screen for gauge cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a separate 8.8-inch display for climate controls. The Climate Comfort package includes a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and a hands-free power lift gate. The Price of 2025 Grecale Folgore starts at $110,495. Also if you want there is Maserati’s FuoriSerie program which provides seemingly endless personalization options for paint, upholstery, and trim.

Maserati is set to introduce an electric powertrain in its newest GranTurismo coupe. This 2024 GranTurismo Folgore sports car will join the Garecale Folgore. The GranTurismo Folgore swaps the forced-induction V-6 engine for a trio of electric motors, delivering a combined 818 horsepower. The Maserati claims it can hit 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds. The GranTurismo Folgore shares its design and interior with the new gasoline-powered version and may spawn a convertible GranCabrio Folgore as well. Also an 83.0 kWh battery pack should provide around 240 miles of driving range. This fancy sport EV is expected to start around $215,000. The unique design ensures that the Folgore’s cabin space closely resembles that of the six-cylinder model. Expect the GranTurismo Folgore to be available at dealerships by the end of 2023 as a 2024 model.
2024 GranCabrio Folgore (Expected: 2025)
2024 GranCabrio Folgore is Maserati’s new model for the year 2025. The upcoming Cabrio Folgore shares its curvaceous styling, powertrain, battery and electric motors with the GranTurismo Folore Coupe. Comes with three motors produced up to 818 hp, the EV will be as quick as the coupe along with similar driving range. Clever use of the motors gives GranCabrio a torque-vectoring feature that mimics that of a limited-slip differential. A 83.0-kWH battery pack boasting up to 233 miles of driving range per charge is provided. Maserati says the battery could charge fast at up to a 270-kW connection, enough to add 100 km range within 5 minutes charging.
Interior of GranCabrio Folgore is built with premium material. Although the rear seats aren’t too spacious, you will find the back seat more useful as an additional storage space. A power-operated fabric compact designed roof, uses aluminum and magnesium to save weight and maintain body stiffness. Inside, GranCabrio comes with the latest Google-based 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 8.80inch climate control panel, 13-speaker premium stereo system tuned by Italian audio specialist Sonus Faber and an optional 16-speaker Sonus Faber system. Company hasn’t released the price of the GranCabrio Folgore yet, but it is expected that the 2025 Maserati GranCabrio Folgore will start around $220,000. When it comes it will compete with hard-top and sedan including Lucid Air to the Rolls Royce Spectre.
