Porsche Macan EV (Expected: 2024)
Porsche is nearly ready to unleash its second electric model, in line to achieve more than 80% of its sales coming from electric vehicles by 2030. This will be the first Porsche running on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform. The EV will come in two trim :- The Macan 4 EV and Turbo EV. The Macan 4 EV and Turbo EV feature all-wheel drive due to electric motor on each axle. The Macan 4 EV produce a max horsepower of 402 and 479 pound-feet of torque while Turbo produce 630 hp and 833 pound-feet of torque.
The electric version of the coupe SUV will use an 800-volt system, enabling the battery to recharge from 5 to 80% in less than 25 minutes. Last year, Porsche revealed that the PPE will support both rear and all-wheel-drive. Furthermore it’s expected to be really fast, boasting a peak of 603 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. Porsche has already revealed many details about the Macan EV ahead of its expected debut in 2023, with sales beginning in 2024. Inside Macan EV there a 12.6-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.9-inch central touchscreen infotainment system. it is compatible with Apple CarPlay and features a voice assistance.
