Genesis is giving its first all-electric vehicle a new stylish design with more tech and other development. This coming Genesis GV60 is the first dedicated EV that will wear the Genesis badge. Originally the electric SUV was launched in October 2021 with the tag as a true luxury brand in the EV space.

Genesis on Monday unveiled the updated GV60 after years, as its first major refresh. Automakers showcased its improved exterior and interior design for the first time. Finally the official launch happens after the refreshed EV was spotted several times last year.
The new GV60 features Genesis’ signature Two Line headlamps with Micro Lens Array (MLA) tech that are already shown on other updated models like the Electrified GV70. The new Electrified GV70 was spotted in public for the first time last month, showcasing similar design enhancements to those seen in the updated Genesis GV60.
It also showcases a refined exterior with the most noticeable features such as the new front bumper. You can also see Genesis fine-tuned the end with a new bumper and headlamps.
Genesis has made its outline look according to its new “Athletic Elegance” design theme while the GV60 embraces Genesis’ “Beauty of the White Space” concept with a luxurious interior. To make it more tech friendly the interior of the EV includes a new 27-inches connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC) infotainment system.
Genesis says the new design “elements the bezel between the cluster and audio, visual and navigation (AVN) screen. A sporty three-spoke steering wheel adds to the refined cabin experience, while signature elements like the Crystal Sphere remain intact.
Brand has not said anything about the price and additional specs yet but said will disclose near to launch. The updated GV60 is expected to offer a larger battery for increased range, similar to the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and Kia EV6. As 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 has an 84 kWh battery that provides an EPA-estimated range of up to 318 miles, in comparison to the 2024 model which has a 77.4 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 303 miles.

Pricing starts at $52,350 for the Standard RWD trim, with AWD options ranging from $55,850 to $69,900, depending on the configuration. Genesis plans to launch the updated GV60 in Korea in Q1 2025, with other markets to follow.
