In addition to the hub motor the MAHLE X30 system also integrates seamlessly with MAHLE’s battery, HMI (human-machine interface), and other electrical components. One of the interesting facts is that It is also compatible with MAHLE’s existing X20 accessories and components. The system includes the MAHLE EX1 external battery, which fits into a water bottle-style holder and offers 171 Wh of capacity. This compact battery provides up to 60 km (37 miles) of range and adds only 1.1 kg (2.4 lb) to the bike’s weight.
