Finally Kia has officially debuting its most awaited Kia EV4 electric sedan and hatchback models. The automakers has introduced this concept back in the year during Kia’s first annual EV Day in 2023. On this event Kia has also introduced EV3 and EV5 concept which are already thriving the market.
Kia has unveiled the EV4 on Monday after teasing the production model for the first time. Giving us the first official look of the Kia all electric car. It is a seems to be the real replica of the EV4 concept shown in 2023.
Have Look on Kia EV4 Feature
The Kia EV feature the extended silhouette and low nose that give it a sporty look. Along there is an added roof spoiler. The EV4 is built on Kia’s “Opposites United” design theme, featuring sharp, bold lines and slim LED headlights.
Kia says the EV4 is aimed at “a broad demographic” with a modern and advanced new tech “that resonated with lifestyle-focused buyers who are eager to explore.” The Kia EV4 is take on the mass-market electric sedan as a potential rival to Tesla Model 3.
There is also a hatchback variant that is “a nimble, versatile all-rounder. Distinctive and clean, it is built to excel in any situation,” said Karim Habib, the Head of Kia Global Design.
However the automaker has not reveal the interior of yet but it is expected that it includes new ccNC infotainment system with dual 12.3-inches driver and navigation screens featured in its other EV models, including the flagship EV9.
The EV4 sedan and hatchback both model is based on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform and is also expected to feature at least 300 miles range similar to EV3 that boost up to 375 miles WLTP.
We also got a first glimpse of the Kia EV4 GT-Line, a sporty trim featuring exclusive design elements like wing-shaped front and rear bumpers and distinctive 19″ triangular-motif wheels.
The EV4 is set to make its official debut next week at Kia’s second annual EV Day on February 24, alongside the EV2, the brand’s smallest and most affordable electric vehicle.
While pricing details will be revealed closer to launch, the EV4 is expected to range between $30,000 and $40,000, depending on the market. For comparison, the base Tesla Model 3 starts at $42,490 in the US, offering an EPA-estimated range of 363 miles before applying the $7,500 federal tax credit.
