A long wait has been over as the Hyundai Casper EV Cross was spotted for the first time in public. The new low-cost electric car features a new design upgrade showcasing enhanced design elements.
Although automaker has showcased its Inster EV Cross earlier this month, giving the electric city car an off-road new look. However we know a rugged “Cross” variant has been headed to Europe. But this was the first time when a domestic model was spotted with an upgraded design.
Also a new video from HearlerTV reveals that the upgraded EV comes with added design elements that include the roof rack and more aggressive black trim. The report also notes that the Hyundai Casper EV Cross has a “much more mechanical and futuristic feel than the existing model.”
Key upgrade features of the Inster EV Cross include new front and rear bumpers, black claddings, skid plates, a roof rack, and more.
Key Upgrade in Hyundai Casper EV
The upgraded EV model looks more “robot-like” with an added off-road feel. With more power and battery the new Inster EV Cross gets up to 223 miles (360 km) according to WLTP driving range. However in Korea, the Casper Electric is boosted up to 195 miles (315 km) driving range.
Automaker has no plan to launch the Hyundai Casper (Inster) EV in the US, the low-cost model was spotted while driving in California for the first time this month. Meanwhile, off-road fans can get in line for Hyundai’s upgraded 2025 IONIQ 5, which will be available with a rugged XRT trim.
For pricing Hyundai said it’s new EV can be bought for under $8,000 (10 million won) with subsidies. In Europe Casper EV starts at under $27,000 (25,000 euros). Automaker also said the Cross variant is built for “those looking for an EV with a more adventurous look.”
