LiveWire is one of the electric motorcycle brand spun out of Harley-Davidson, has unveiled its latest model: the S2 Alpinista. This new addition to LiveWire’s lineup is built on the versatile Arrow platform, which also underpins the S2 Del Mar and S2 Mulholland models.

Design and Features
The S2 Alpinista is LiveWire’s first sport standard motorcycle that is featuring 17-inch wheel, enhancing the street riding capabilities of the electric motorcycle and reduce the seat height by 1.1 inches compared to the S2 Del Mar. Equipped with Dunlop Roadsmart IV tires, the Alpinista offers impressive lean angles of 52.1° left and 44.2° right, making it suitable for both daily commutes and spirited rides through winding roads. The motorcycle also comes with a 6-axis IMU from Bosch, providing cornering-enhanced antilock braking and traction control systems. Riders can choose from four preset ride modes and two custom modes to tailor the bike’s performance to their preferences.

Performance and Battery
Weighing 434 pounds, the S2 Alpinista accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. It is powered by an 84-horsepower (63 kW) motor delivering 194 lb-ft of torque. The motorcycle is equipped with a 10.5 kWh battery pack, offering a city range of up to 120 miles and a highway range of 71 miles. Charging is convenient with standard Level 1 and Level 2 capabilities; a Level 2 charger can replenish the battery from 20% to 80% in approximately 78 minutes.

Pricing and Availability
Priced at an MSRP of $15,999 USD, the S2 Alpinista is now available for purchase at LiveWire dealerships across North America and Europe. Customers can also configure their preferred colors and accessories online and connect directly with the nearest retail partner.
