In a major step towards greener mobility, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled the 2024 CB300F flex-fuel, marking India’s first 300cc flex-fuel motorcycle. This launch aligns with the country’s push towards sustainable transportation solutions. Designed for environmentally conscious riders, the new Honda CB300F flex-fuel is now available for booking at BigWing dealerships across India, with an ex-showroom price of ₹1,70,000 in Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO of HMSI, emphasized Honda’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. “With over a decade’s expertise in flex-fuel technology, the CB300F flex-fuel represents a significant milestone for us. This launch supports India’s Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) program and reinforces our goal of contributing to a greener future,” Otani stated.
Mr. Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing at HMSI, highlighted the growing demand for Eco-friendly motorcycles, stating, “The Honda CB300F flex-fuel offers both performance and sustainability, providing riders with the flexibility of using ethanol-blended fuel without compromising on Honda’s renowned reliability.”
The CB300F flex-fuel is powered by a 293.52cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that supports E85 fuel (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline), delivering 18.3 kW of power and 25.9 Nm of torque. The bike features a 6-speed gearbox with an assist slipper clutch, enhancing gear shifts and preventing rear-wheel hopping.
Equipped with dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and advanced suspension, the CB300F promises both safety and comfort. Its fully digital instrument panel provides real-time updates and includes an Intelligent Ethanol Indicator for fuel content monitoring. Available in Sports Red and Mat Axis Grey Metallic, the CB300F flex-fuel will hit dealerships in the last week of October 2024.
