The first look of the Jaguar’s new ultra-luxury EV lineup is really a crazy one. While viewing the photos you will be confused – Is that Barbie’s dream car or a new Jag?

Early in the month Jaguar has finally unveiled the Type 00 EV with the price tag of +$100,000. It is an all electric four-door GT that has been getting the spotlight. It is said that the new model is Jaguar’s first reimagined production car, kicking off a new (all-electric) era for the storied British automaker.
With the new line of ultra-luxury EV models Jaguar is aiming to become an all-electric brand. As the images leaked of Jag’s new EV stirring up the social media crowd, ahead of its official debut at Miami Art Week.

Jaguar’s bold new EV design has sparked mixed reactions. Some critics humorously compared it to “Barbie’s dream car” or the “Pink Panther,” while others praised its daring style. Even Tesla CEO Elon Musk chimed in, responding to Jaguar’s “Copy Nothing” branding teaser on X with the snarky comment, “Do you sell cars?”
EV startup Lucid Motors also teased Jag with respondents with a picture of its Air Sapphire, the “World’s first luxury Super-Sports Sedan.”

Jaguar Embraces Spotlight Amid Controversy
Rawdon Glover, appointed to lead the revamped Jaguar brand last year, told Sky News that the company has “gathered an awful lot of attention over the last few weeks,” adding, “But now I think it’s really important to talk about the vehicle. He also explained, “We need to make sure that Jaguar is relevant, desirable, and future proof for the next 90 years of its history.”
Jaguar unveiled its striking Type 00 concept, describing the luxury EV as “unmistakable, unexpected, and a dramatic physical manifestation of Jaguar.” True to its promise, the design stands as a “fearless statement,” embodying bold innovation and a fresh direction for the brand.
The auto industry is undergoing its most significant transformation yet, with advanced EVs, cutting-edge software, and innovative connectivity tech reshaping the landscape.


Jaguar is embracing this change head-on, with Jaguar’s boss stating, “We want to be bold and disruptive… We’re clearly in the conversation.” Highlighting the buzz surrounding the brand, he remarked, “More people have been talking about Jaguar for the last two weeks than – goodness, for so much longer.” The luxury automaker is determined to make a bold step forward, ensuring its presence is both noticed and impactful in this evolving market.
Also the new eclectic GT is based on brand new JEA (Jaguar Electric Architecture). It has a target EPA range of 430 miles (692 km) and a WLTP range of up to 478 miles (770 km). Further it can also add 200 miles (321 km) of charge in as little as 15 minutes.
