Volvo EX30 (Expected: Summer 2024)
Volvo is ready to launch its entry-level electric SUV-the Volvo EX30. It will be Volvo’s smallest and more affordable EV other than the sub-compact electric SUVs-the XC4 Recharge and C40 Recharge. The new EX30 features a stylish cabin adorned with eco-friendly upholstery choices. Further when it comes to power, the EX30 offers two powertrain choices: a single-motor rear-wheel-drive option with 268 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque, or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant boasting a combined 422 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Regardless of the chosen motor, both run on a 64.0-Kwh battery. Volvo also claims that the single-motor version can go for 275 miles, while the dual-motor terms it down by 10 miles.
Volvo XC60 (Expected: 2024)
The production of the XC60 is slated for 2024, but Volvo suggests that the next XC60 will exclusively be available as an electric vehicle (EV). What is more exciting is that it will make the pioneering use of the high-tech battery cells developed in collaboration with Northvolt, a Swedish battery manufacturer. Further Volvo offers two four-cylinder engine versions for the XC60-the 247-hp B5 and the 455-hp T8 plug-in hybrid.
Under the hood of base B5-badged XC60s there is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a 48-volt hybrid system powered by 247 horsepower. While the plug-in-hybrid T8 powertrain with a pair of turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a set of electric motors offer a total of 455 horsepower in the Recharge models. This new electric XC60 is a pivotal element of Volvo’s commitment to having EVs constitute half of its sales by 2025, ultimately transitioning to a fully electric lineup by 2030.
Volvo EX90 (Expected: 2024)
Volvo’s new EX90, is an all electric premium 7-seat SUV that defines a new era for safety. The 2025 Volvo EX90 is a three row luxury electric SUV, built from scratch, gives us a sneak peek into what the future holds for this Swedish brand. The EX90 will feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup including front and rear electric motors producing 402 horsepower for the base model. Other more powerful beefier is 496 horsepower for the Twin Motor Performance version. All EX90s have a 111.0-Kwh battery pack. Other features that make it luxuries are an air suspension, soft-close doors, 21-inch wheels and massaging front seats. Adopting a 400-volt system, the EX90 aims for an impressive 300-mile range. It is also anticipated the electric EX90 to carry a price premium compared to its gas-powered counterpart. Further the more specifics will drop before it hits the market in 2024.
2026 Volvo ES90 (Expected :- 2025)
ES90 is another new model presented by Volvo in line to achieve an all-EV lineup by 2030. It is a mid-size luxury sedan that exists alongside the current S90 in the electrification process vehicle process. ES90 will share the same platform as EX90 SUV that positions it at the top-tire of Volvo’s hierarchy. Volvo XC40 Recharge (Expected :- 2024 )
Volvo offers 2024 Volvo XC40 Recharge in three trims:-Core, Plus and Ultimate. This year a new 248-hp single Motor rear-wheel drive variant joins the lineup and boasts more driving range than the Twin Motor all-wheel drive version. The new RWD setup is more efficient and uses a slightly larger 79.0 kWh battery pack, good for 293 miles of driving in the Single Motor model. Twin Motor trims also update their eclectic motor to improve efficiency to improve to an estimated 524 miles per charge, with a 75.0-kWh battery pack. That makes XC40 Rechange a direct rival to Audi e-Tron and Jaguar I-Pace.
To make it charge fast, XC40 Recharge is capable of charging at DC fast-charging terminals as well as at-home chargers via a 240-volt outlet. A standard 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with several customization is there that has been developed with collaboration with Google’s android Automotive. The ultimate gets unique 20-inch wheels, automatic high-beam headlamps, a Harman/Kardon stereo system, adaptive cruise control, and a semi-autonomous driving mode.

With a new Performance software pack with EX40 twin motor variant that adds a claimed 34 horse of output and an attendant Performance drive mode. There is also an Black Edition appearance package, similar to the treatment on the 2024 XC60 Black Edition. Comes with the same powertrain as the XC40 Recharge, the 2025 EX40 comes with a Single Motor model utilize a 79.0-kWh battery pack. That produced up to 293 miles of driving per charge. The Twin Motor all-wheel drive model has a 75.0-kWh battery pack, which is said to be good for up to 254 miles.
For charging the XC40 Recharge can be charged at DC fast-charging terminals as well as at-home chargers via a 240-volt outlet.
