Are you ready for another semi electric vehicle of Volkswagen, the German automaker brand has just shared the first design details of the seventh generation available in both BEV and PHEV configuration Transporter vans.
Volkswagen says that the new Volkswagen Transporter is a “near-production concept vehicle.” It continues the legacy of VW’s iconic Bulli family, which include the original VW Microbus and the recently launched ID. Buzz.
“The details of the seventh Bulli generation pick up the characteristic design features of its six predecessors and give them a new interpretation. This has a tradition – every new Volkswagen Transporter has always represented a new visual beginning, a stylistic bridge between a long history, the present and the future.” Albert Kirzinger, chief designer of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle
Currently we only have the design details of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, the details related to spec is still sparse. Also the pre-sales of the new Transporter have begun in Europe at the price of €36,780, but the official market launch is planned for the first quarter of 2025.

It is expected that the Transporter is between 5,050 mm (199 inches) and 5,450 mm (215 inches) long, and VW redesigned the 16-,17- and 19-inch Transporter wheel rim range. Also the commercial Transporter will be available with a tailgate and rear wing doors.
Kirzinger also added that “ the front design of out seventh Transporter immediately makes it clear that it is a member of the Bulli family and complements the Multivan and ID. Buzz duo.” However the rear design nods to Bulli’s T5 legacy with details like the shape of the tail lights with LED dots toward the side, but the electric vehicle has been redesigned and technically revamped.
We have to wait for the more detailed of the vehicles as VW plans to release more detailed specifications near the launch date that is less than a year.
