Stellantis offers its new midsize crossover in Europe in fiver or seven-passenger configurations with either mild hybrid ICE or BEV drivetrain configuration. The best part of the new lineup is that weather you buy a gas or electric the price of the new midsize crossover remain same.

The brand is ready to launch it’s new Vauxhall Fronteres- a mid-size crossover in UK later this year with a price tag of £23,495 ($30,705) for the ICE version and  £23,495 for the BEV.

Stellantis Frontera Specs and Interior

The new Stellantis Frontera is available either as a hybrid with 48-volt technology or fully electric. The hybrid mode is power with a 100 hp 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine developed specifically for hybrid use. There is also a 21kW (28 hp) electric motor and electrified six-speed dual clutch transmission, so that fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are significantly lower to a conventionally powered model. There is also a 136 hp 1.2 turbo engine also available for the Frontera Hybrid.

The New Frontera is out new family-size SUV, offering customers innovative and practical electric mobility at an affordable price. It is highly flexible with up to seven seats, spacious, and with a choice of hybrid and electric powertrains, we’re confident that Frontera will apple to new and exiting audience as well as sit very well in out revised SUV line-up in between Mokka and the frontcoming All-New Grandlang.

James Taylor, Managing Director, Vauxhall

Stellantis said customers who want to travel locally emission-free can order the fully electric Frontera Electric, which is based on the new ‘Smart Car’ BEV-native platform- a development from the current e-CMP platform- and features a 113 hp electric motor. Company also offers a range more than 186 miles (c.300 km) (WLTP provisional) with 100 kW charging capability as standard, while the “long range” version will be able to travel up to around 248 miles (c.400 km) (WLTP provisional) without stopping to charge.

The interior of the either version features the “Pure Panel” digital cockpit featuring dual 10” displays. However GS Trim has some added features such as automatic climate controls and Intel-Seat front seats. GS trim is the only option available in the seven-seat configuration, which cuts 16.2 cubic feet of cargo space compared to the standard five-stater.

The new Fronters mid-size crossover is the part of a brand broader plan to revamp Stellantis’ brands in Europe.
