2024 Rivian R1S
Rivian R1S is a three-row SUV launched by Rivian. The Rivian R1S shares its battery pack, powertrain, styling and many specs with its R1T pickup sibling. A dual-motor setup of combined 600 horsepower is a standard powertrain and comes with all-wheel drive. Other more powerful Quad-powertrain, which produced 835 hp. It provides impressive performance racing 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds. The R1S also has an electric motor at each-wheel , providing all-wheel drive and impressive off-road capability, along that there is also an adjustable air-spring suspension as standard feature. Considering pricing the 2024 Rivian R1S starts at $76,700 that goes high up to $93,800 depending on the trim and options.
The Rivian R1S has three different battery packs :- entry level battery provides estimated 260 miles of driving range and is only offered with base dual-motor powertrain. The optional Large battery pack with estimated range of 352 miles per charge. And an expensive Max battery pack with 400 miles per charge. Also the Quad-Motor powertrain is only available with the Large battery and has an EPA-estimated 321 miles of range. R1S boasts a beautifully designed cabin with modern styling that provides enough space for a family and their gear. There are two large displays – a driver’s gauge and a 15.6-inch infotainment system that uses expandable tiles for individual features. With an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, a wireless charging pad, and Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant are there. But neither Apple CarPlay nor Android Auto is included.
2024 Rivian R1T
The 2024 Rivian R1T is one of the fastest trucks available in the U.S., a rival to the Ford F-150 Lightning, the Chevrolet Silverado eV and the GMC Hummer EV SUT. The pickup comes in two different configurations : Dual-Motor with 533 hp and Quad Motor, in all-wheel drive standard version. The new performance version of Dual-Motor setup unlocks 665 hp and 700 pound-feet of torque. However the optional Quad-Motor setup boasts up to 835 hp. Also there are three different battery packs- Standard good for 270 miles per charge while Large and Max battery packs boast ranges up to 352 and 410 miles respectively. The Rivian R1T also offers 1760 pounds of payload capacity and 11,000 pounds towing.
The R1T features an impressive interior made with leather and wood. There are two displays 15.6 for infotainment and other for the driver gauge cluster. A large trunk under the front hood, a big storage compartment and a lockable in-bed compartment provide a great space. Rivian says the truck has 12 cubic feet of lockable storage. Also the expandable and collapsible crossbar system of the truck allows for mounting gear over the bed and cabin. Rivian is offering R1T with a price tag of $71,700 that goes high up to $88,800 depending on the trim and options.
