Polestar has officially launched its new 2025 Polestar 2, on Monday. It marks a notable evolution of the Polestar’s commitment to electric mobility. The updated Polestar boasts more range and style.
Polestar has initial debut Polestar 2 in mid-2020, as its first fully electric vehicle. Since then the model has witnessed immense success with over 160,000 units sold across 27 global markets. The 2025 Polestar 2 debuts with the two new fresh exterior color options: Vapour and Storm, which replace Magnesium and Thunder, respectively. These shades lend a contemporary edge to the vehicle’s aesthetic. Other updated features that complement the new colors are redesigned 19-inch Aero alloy wheels with aero inserts and 20-inch Pro graphite alloy wheels available with the Pro Pack, enhancing both style and aerodynamic efficiency.
From inside also the EV takes its commitment to luxury and sustainability seriously. It now features animal welfare-secured Charcoal Nappa leather upholstery, sourced from the internationally renowned Bridge of Weir in Scotland. The Pro Pack offers an exclusive touch with its new black and Swedish Gold seatbelt design, adding a unique flair to the interior.
To make it performance oriented, the 2025 Polestar 2 is also impressive, it features significant improvements across all variants. The Long Range Single Motor model now boasts up to 409 miles (659 km) per charge under the WLTP standards, which makes it one of the most capable models in its class. Meanwhile, the Standard Range Single Motor variant features an upgraded 70 kWh CATL battery pushing its range to up to 344 miles (554 km).
Also the Polestar 2 is aligned with the structures of the Polestar 3 and 4, which allows for greater customization through its revised pack structure. It includes the Climate, Pro, Pilot, Plus, and Performance Packs, each offering unique features and enhancements that cater to diverse driver needs and preferences.
