A new EV lineup Galaxy has been launch it’s latest model, the E5 under the parent company of Geely Auto. It is a new all-electric SUV especially designed for overseas market outside the native land. It join by the two mode PHEV models in Galaxy’s “L-Series” and a third all – electric model in the “E-Series” by 2025.
The coming SUV will available in five different variants, where each model features the same single motor and powertrain technology. Offering the 160 kW of peak power, 320 Nm of torque, and 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration in 6.9 seconds. Here is the list of all five variant with key specs and price:-

Built on the Geely Electric Architecture (GEA) platform, the E5 features only a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor as available powertrain with two option for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery sizes, which offers an energy density of 192 kW/h with a life expectancy of up to 3,500 charger cycles.
On the debut, Geely said that battery lifespan is equivalent to driving 1 million kilometers (621k miles) with “little impact on range”.
All the trim will comes with different battery capacity and range. The entry level lower trims features a 48.52 kWh battery pack that goes to 60.22 kWh battery powers pack for the top three trims. One of the interesting fact about the E5 is that it is the first BEV uses the Geely’s new Aegis Sort Blade Battery technology.
The interior of the Galaxy E5 features a rotating central central screen, a fully digital instrument panes, a head-up display, a panoramic sunroof, 16 speakers and the Flyme Auto System, work intuitively like a smartphone. Other safety features includes Galaxy E5 packs Level 2 ADAS, which includes AEB with pedestrian recognition,, lane charge assist, and intelligent cruise control (ICC).
On overseas the E5 will be available in both left- and right-hand driving versions to suit the global market. Although the Geely has not shared the more specification about the BEV. But the pre-orders is now open, you can book your Galaxy E5 BEV.
