Lotus Eletre (Expected: 2024)
Lotus will offer a new high performance electric SUV to the customer in 2024. The forthcoming Eletre is a high-performance electric SUV built in Wuhan,China. Lotus says it will offer the Base, S and R models with the base price being below $85,000. The base model is a dual-motor all wheel drive setup making 603 horsepower. According to Lotus, the Eletre is expected to boast a range of approximately 315 miles, equipped with an 800-volt battery capable of recharging two-thirds of capacity within 20 minutes using a 350-kilowatt fast charger. This new Lotus Eletre will hit the streets in the U.S. sometime in 2024.
Lotus Emeya (Expected: 2024)
With the aim of broadening its range, Lotus is ready to launch its Emerya, a fancy all electric sedan to take on the Porsche Taycan and Lucid Air. The Emeya boasts a streamlined, aerodynamic profile with sharp aesthetics. Beneath the surface, there’s a 102.0-kWh battery pack provided by the Lotus that is anticipated to deliver a range between 260 and 315 miles. Further there will be two powertrain options offered by the company- a base model with 603 horsepower and 523 pound-feet of torque, and a top-tier variant with a robust 905 horsepower and 727 pound-feet of torque, featuring a two-speed transmission. Another fascinating fact is that the top-of-the-line version can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in less than 2.8 seconds, achieving a top speed of 159 mph. The expected pricing of the upcoming Emeya is $100,000. Lotus also takes care about the customer comfort with its stylish design cabin. Lotus says the production starts in 2024 and the Emeya will thrive in the market of North America in 2025.
