Limited Taycan Turbo K-Edition from Porsche Released, But Not for Purchase

On Friday Porsche unveiled it’s exclusive Taycan Turbo K-Edition to celebrate it’s successful 10 years journey in Korea. It is the limited edition offered by Porsche which stands apart with unique exterior and interior elements inspired by Korean culture.

Porsche Taycan K Edition

Although Porsche released an upgraded Taycan early in the year which offers more range and power with fast charging. But this new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT is an all-electric workhorse. The electric sports car features over 1,000 hp of power, which can boost up to 0 to 60 mph in 2.1 seconds, making it the fastest street-legal Porsche ever.

The recent launch Taycan Turbo K-Edition marks Porsche’s success of 10 year in Korea. The latest models blends Korean influence with its signature luxury design. CEO of Porsche Korea, Holger Gerrmann explained, “ The concept of the Taycan Turbo K-Edition is to lend a visible expression to the close connection between Porsche DNA and Korean society and culture.”

There is a new logo up front of the EV based on historical Korean royal stamping. Inside the symbol the name “Taycan” is written in Korean characters. The K-Edition model also has a special skyline graphic based on Korean cities, buildings and landscapes which represent 

It is also noticeable how beautifully Porsche designers integrated racetrack into the logo. The specialist Sonderwunsch team hand-painted the logo on the charging port. It can also be found on the seat headresst and the leather key holder.

Porsche Taycan K Edition

It an exclusive edition available in Korea features a hand-painted silhouette on the rear spoiler and key housing, hand-crafted cross stitching and a three-color-block design to feel luxurious.

The limited edition Porsche Taycan Turbo model features up to 871 hp (650 kW), which is good for a 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) acceleration in 2.7 seconds. However it is not quite as fast as the GT model , but still offers an impressive time range.

Buyers also have choice in exterior colors form five offered:- Ruby Red, Oak Green, Macadamia, Ipanema Blue, and Alex Grey. The Red, Blue, and Grey option includes a Basalt Black interior while the Macadamia and Oak Green models features with Truffle Brown leather.
