On the last Monday Kia has introduced it’s updated EV6 model for the UK. The updated EV will come with an enhanced design, longer range, and more. The EV6 will be brands another EV for their customer that presenting the brand’s fresh new look.
Kia has introduced it’s EV6 back in 2021 as brand first dedicated EV based on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform. Since then the over all 210,000 model of the EV6 has been sold out by the Kia. And finally in 2024 the EV is getting new updated align it with the EV to next-gen models.
The brand has launched the EV first time in Korea in May. At launched event we get the first look of the updated EV6. Also Kia has said, “ The EV6 has returned in a more perfect form.” Now the new EV6 is being introduced in Europe.
The updated EV6’s most noticeable change is upfront with other such as a new daytime running lights and signature Star Map lighting, new wheels and touched up the rear bumper for a more sporty, modern look.
Further the new EV6 GT-Line gets even more dynamic front and rear bumpers, an LED lighting bar, and optional 20-inch wheels. Or the interion has also changed with added ambient lighting, a redesigned steering wheel, and an updated charge pad. Each variant includes different upholstery. The GT-Line has a black and off-white color scheme.
The updated EV6 also get Kia’s fourth-gen batteries, with up to 84 kWh battery capacity, up from 77.4 kWh, the new EV6 gets up to 361 miles (582 km) of WLTP range.
The new EV6 also includes up to 258 kW peak charging, enabling up to 213 miles (343 km) in just 15 minutes. For charging the new EV6 features a fast charging that enable EV to get charge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes.
To improve stability and drive experience Kia also improved the EV6’s with upgraded frequency selective suspension dampers. The new EV6 is available in the UK with Single-Motor (RWD) and Dual-Motor (AWD) powertrains, starting at £45,575 ($60,000) with the included VAT.
