After months of teasers, Kia finally unveiled the PV5 at its 2025 EV Day event last month.

The PV5 is a close replica of the concept shown at CES last January features hard-to-miss futuristic design concept. It is a mid-size electric van, set to kick off Kia’s new Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy.

As per automaker the PV5 will initially come in Passengers, Cargo, and Chassis Cab setups, with the “unprecedented flexibility,” you can aslo expect to see more options soon. Set to launch in the second half of 2025, Kia’s electric van has been seen in Korea for the first time without any camouflage. A new video from HealerTV provides a closer look at what to expect when the PV5 arrives at dealerships later this year.

The PV5 features its techy, almost ahead-of-its-time design. Comes with two exterior body colors: white and a darker grey or black. As per reporter, it is actually seems like an upgraded from the concept.

Kia designed the rear to avoid a boxy, bus-like appearance, opting for a more rounded and modern shape. This gives it a distinct look compared to most MPVs on the market today.
