Kia has teased its fans with the image of the awaited upcoming EV3, the brand’s new compact electric SUV. The brand debuted the EV3 concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year.
Teaser images of the EV3 ‘s showcasing the exterior design of it, they are highlighting its dynamic styling. Along with its boxy rear fenders and tailgate, as well as the Ev3’s signature Star Map Lighting. Also it will use the Hyundai Motor Group’s electric E-GMP platform.
Kia has officially announced that the Kia will unveil its new EV3 electric car on Thursday, May 23 and it will go on the road after going on sale later this year following the occasion of the world premiere which will be live-streamed on the Kia worldwide YouTube channel.
Also with the debut this production-bound EV3 will in its shift form concept vehicle to a production-bound one arrive “comprehensively equipped”, according to Kia. Currently Kia hasn’t said anything about price but in October, Kia said that EV3, EV4 and the compact SUV EV5 would be priced from $35,000 to $50,000.
Kia hasn’t said too much regarding the upcoming EV but on website Kia said the EV3 is part of its strategy to make electric mobility more accessible, convenient and reliable for everyone.
