The company will soon start its sales of both Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 in the US and Europe market. Also the long pending price details of the model in the U.S.A. now end. As in the U.S. Ninja e-1 will sell at US $7,599 while Z e-1 starts from $7,299.The Customer will be able to buy a new electric model from the existing dealer of Kawasaki.

Kawasaki says ” the two motorcycles can achieve 41 miles (66 km) of range in Road mode without using the electric boost feature. There’s no word from the manufacturer on what speed that range is measured at, but that figure works out to an efficiency of 73 Wh/mile and thus is likely around 35 mph (56 km/h) of average speed.”

Both bikes are based on Kawasaki’s 400cc models with other features like the boost button that increases the burst power and top speed temporarily (for only 15 seconds), and a pair of removal 1.5 kWh battery packs( total 3 kWh). The lithium-ion batteries will get recharged fully from a typical wall outlet within four hours.

They also have two riding modes, Eco mode that uses lower power and limited to 40 mph (64 km/h) with boost speed of 47 mph (76 km/h). While the constant speed of 55 mph (88 km/h) is offers in Road mode, but with the boost button it will get up to 65 mph (105 km/h).
