Horwin, The e-mobility giant of China has announced that now it is ready to enter the US market. At Upcoming Electronics Show (CES) at Las Vegas, Nevada held from January 9 to 12, 2024 The brand will debut its electric vehicle. The CES is as always an event that showcases some of the latest and greatest innovations in tech and electronics industries to the world.
Over the past few years, Horwin has greatly expanded its market overseas. In Europe and South America the brand has developed a quite strong presence, now it is coming to the US. IN the US, Horwin will develop headquarter in California, and focus to encourage adoption of electric two-wheelers with brands premium models.
The electric lineup of Senmenti series consists of a production model and two concepts. Senmenti 0, an electric scooter that was unveiled at EICMA 2023 will be the first production model offered by the brand. With a price tag $16,800 USD. Simultaneously, two new concept models – Senmenti X and Senmeti 11 are also ready to showcase.
However the Senmenti 0 looks like a scooter but Horwin calls the Senmenti 0 a motorcycle , that’s not far from the truth. Powered by a 16.9 kWh battery, it offers a claimed range of up to 186 miles on a single charge. This could supply more power than you see in a full-blown motorcycle. For speed, Senmenti 0 offers a top speed of 125 miles per hour. Horwin’s AI-powered Advanced Rider Assistance System (ARAS) provides intelligent vehicle networking is another impressive feature of the EV.
On the event of the brand’s expansion into the US market, Horwin founder and CEO Wendsor Zhou Wei expressed, “We’re thrilled to introduce Horwin and tell our story to new audiences. The U.S. is obviously a critical sales market for any EV company. As vehicle manufacturers transition to an all-electric future, Horwin is already ahead of the curve, thanks to years of developing advanced 5G-enabled manufacturing processes enriched with artificial intelligence to pioneer a more sustainable future.”
Horwin is already accepting the first 500 pre-orders for the Senmenti 0 with a fully refundable $100 deposit by providing the deal of three years of free charging and lifetime OTA update.
In the meantime Horwin also showcased its two new concept models as previously discussed in the above article. The Senmenti X concept has been designed as a “Hyper GT build for luxurious and long-range touring”. This futuristic model focused on performance and long-distance capabilities. It offers at least 250 miles of range with the adjustable ergonomics to tailor fit the preference of individual riders.
And the last Senmenti 11 concept, “a futuristic city explorer of high-performance, style, and technology.” This model takes the form of a futuristic evocation of the current standard naked streetfighter. Compact design of Senmenti 11 is added with a high power electric motor to provide an ideal machine for riders to add thrill in their mundane rides.
