Another great mountain e-bikes is in the row. Merida has introduced its two new e-MTBS, designed for both hardcore MTBers and everyday commuters looking for a pinch of premium off-road capability. So lets have a deep dive in the E-Bikes specs.
Merida eOne-Sixty
Brand has introduced the Merida’ eOne-Sixty Lite as a go-anywhere capability for enduro mountain bikes. Designed as an all-around e-MTB the electric bike is an attribution for long-distance touring e-bikes.
Key Specs
The e-bike will come in an aluminium frame with 170mm of travel up front and 174mm of travel of the rear suspension. It also offers other option either RockShox or Marzocchi hardware. For power a Shimano EP801 motor with a removable 750-watt-hour battery pack. It is also a range extender that boosts its capacity to 1,100-watt hours. The price tag for the ebike is nearly $5,000 (4,699 Euros).
eOne-Sixty CF
To meet the need to be performance oriented, Merida has also launched the eOne-Sixty CF. Here CF stands for Carbon Fiber that makes it lighter and performs better. The e-bike comes with the same suspension but the better version as it comes with great suspension components from the likes of Fox and RockShox. It will be equipped with a smaller 600-watt-hour battery pack, with an optional range extender boosting this up to watt-hours. The top-of-the-line eOne-Sixty CF comes with the price tag of $13,500 (12,600 Euros).
Merida eOne-Forty
Merida eOne-Forty is the cousin of the eOne-Sixty that is a more performance oriented and robust e-bike. The brand has introduced the eOne-Forty as an “SUV e-bike”. A more versatile option that goes beyond the boundaries of recreational cycling.
Key Specs
Pack in the aluminium frame Merida eOne-Forty comes with shorter suspension form the either RockShok or SR Suntour with 150mm of travel. It fits with a big 750-watt hour battery pack that can be extended to 1,100 watt-hours to produce more range. Other great features are luggage rack, built-in illumination, and much more accessible components in a great price tag.
