Are you excited for the first fully electric EV of Genesis, here is the glimpse of the Genesis GV60 ahead of its official debut. This time it was spotted during testing in the U.S. The updated Genesis features a new headlights and redesigned front bumper.
It has been three years since the launching of the brand’s first EV. Since that the GV60 gets updated from time to time to compete against other luxury rivals. That includes Lexus, Lucid, and Rivian.
A video from KindeAuto reveals a closer look at the updated model as it passes by, which gives the glimpse of its new headlights and what appears to be a redesigned front bumper. Also the other features like the massive air ducts added on both sides of bumper peaking through is also visible.
The GV60 gets several complaints of the current bumper as some say it lacks design, so the brands with this update improve the EV bumper. It also reflects the brand commitment for providing best to its customers. The updated GV60 is also shown with new wheels, the same used for the Electrified GV70. As the backside mostly remains covered, so it’s hard to see any noticeable changes.
For pricing the brand has put the price tag of $53,350 on the starting 2024 GV60 which is capable of producing up to 294 miles range. It is also said like the new updated Hyundai IONIQ 5 the GV60 will also feature a bigger battery likely to 84-kWh or 77.4-kWh for slightly improved range and faster charging. That will be available in the US market near around mid-2025 as a 2026 model.

Apart from the current activity Genesis is also planning to launch its GV60 Magma next year, the first of a high-performance series. The brand aims to launch a Magma vehicle as the top option for each model in its lineup.
