The Genesis GV60 has been completely redesigned, making it better in every way. Since its debut in 2021, the luxury electric SUV has been known for its advanced technology, fast charging, and stylish design. Now, Genesis has given it its first major update, adding more range, power, and fun features like Virtual Gear Shift (VGS).

The updated GV60 now comes with a fourth-generation 84 kWh battery, increasing its driving range to nearly 300 miles (481 km) in Korea, up from 280 miles (451 km) in the previous model. The AWD variant now boasts 490 horsepower (360 kW) and 700 Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. Charging has also been improved, with the SUV now able to go from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350 kW fast charger.
More Luxury, More Style, More Fun
Genesis has refined the GV60’s exterior with a new front bumper and Two Line headlamps featuring Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology. The rear skid plate has also been fine-tuned to match the body color, enhancing its wide, low stance. Inside, the GV60 gets a major overhaul with a 27″ cciC (connected car Integrated Cockpit) infotainment system that eliminates the bezel between screens. The new three-spoke steering wheel, center console, and crash pad give the SUV a sportier feel.

Genesis has also made the GV60 more comfortable with improved shock absorbed valves and additional soundproofing. A new Electronic Active Sound Design (e-ASD) system lets drivers choose from “Horizon” or “Heritage: Black” sound profiles, mimicking the feel of a six-cylinder engine.
The redesigned GV60 is now on sale in Korea, with a global launch planned for the US and Europe later this year. Are you excited about the new GV60? Let us know what you think!
