Genesis launched its GV60 in 2021, as its first dedicated EV based on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform. Now the brand is updated Genesis GV60. This updated electric luxury SUV is getting a facelift with several new design upgrades.
As per data Genesis has sold 3,400 GV60 models in the U.S. last year, which is 22% more from 2022, making it one of the standout EV brands. However, recently, news from the Genesis after three years broke out and now you can see a new GV60 with more performance, range, style and improved charging speeds from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes.
Currently GV60 offered in 2WD, AWD, and AWD performance powertrains with a 77.4-kWh battery pack offers an impressive range of 294 miles. Along with the “Beauty of the White Space” interior with a modern and minimalist feel. But a news report by Korea’s Healer TV gives a detailed look of the upgraded GV60, showing expected changes.
The changes include the massive air ducts added on both sides of the front bumper. The provided front grille now has the same color as the body, giving it a bolt, luxurious style. The headlamps are also updated to make the updated GV60 sporty in design. The GV60 gets the same wheels used for the Electrified GV70. The Genesis GV also get a bigger battery (84-kWh) just like the IONIQ 5 refresh providing over 300 miles range.
Whereas the brand still carries its legacy with the backside remains the same with the noticeable added rear-view mirror camera. The prices of the current models start at $53,350, but the prices of the updated GV60 haven’t been disclosed yet.
