Chinese renowned brand Skywell that is known for its cheap electronics gadgets has recently launched a new family hatchback EV. The new EV is designed to rival the VW ID.3, Cupra Born, and BYD Dolphin.

Skywell, mainly known for budget electronics. Actually, it’s a bit confusing, as Skywell goes by Skyworth in Europe, a well-known electronics brand in China. The brand Skywell has already launched an EV outside of China this year, called the BE11 midsize electric SUV. Now, both names are on this car, so it’s a bit unclear.
Now, Skywell or Skyworth is unveiling the Q, which is expected to go on sale throughout Europe next year, and be, to no surprise, “competitively priced.” It is a 4.3m long with minimum decision of heads but offers a clean, modern, and squarely placed in the family car segment. There will be two battery options in the EV that boost combined range of over 300 miles, which makes it a good option for longer drives. However the other details on specs and features is not available.

It also feature a 204 hp front-mounted motor which enable a brand claimed 0-62 mph time in 3.9 seconds. It is quicker than the BYD Dolphin Comfort, which can do the same in seven seconds. Also there is 8-inch alloy wheels and a large “Skyroof” on some models.
There is a an infotainment system and a large15.6 inch touchscreen display, a Mezt sound system and eight speakers, wireless connectivity and touchscreen displays for the folks in the rear seats. Other high-tech features includes a 360-degree panoramic parking camera, autonomous braking systems, lane keep assist, and intelligent speed assist. Company also gives a seven-year, 100K-mile warranty and an eight-year 155K-mile warranty for the battery.
