Chinese State-owned automaker Chery recently launched the Exeed luxury brand, with its latest model named the Exeed VX C-DM plugin. With this the automaker making its international debut in Saudi Arabia February 23 with pre-order with 610 hp, 1,300 Km (over 800 miles) of EREV range.

Chery opened the order books on the Exeed in China under the Exeed Lanyue C-DM name with the starting price of $33,085 US.
Nicknamed the “land business jet” on Exeed’s website, the Exeed VX C-DM combines a 1.5L range-extending ICE engine with a three-speed DHT gearbox, seamlessly integrated with a 165 kW front e-motor. A 175 kW electric motor on the rear axle boosts total power output to 455 kW (610 hp) and 920 Nm (680 lb-ft) of torque, allowing the seven-passenger SUV to accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 5 seconds.


On the EV side, the Exeed VX C-DM is equipped with a CATL NMC battery, providing 180 km (112 miles) of CLTC-rated electric range—a significant leap compared to the 20-30 miles offered by similar Mazda CX-90 PHEV or Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe models.
In addition to its impressive power and performance, the Exeed VX C-DM offers a luxurious interior featuring quilted leather seats, massaging front seats, advanced infotainment screens, a panoramic glass roof, a 23-speaker Lion Melody sound system, and LED mood lighting.

The high-tech cabin is complemented by 26 ADAS functions, including self-driving features, an SDG system to reduce collisions, and a 540-degree camera for easier parking.
Safety is a priority, with a high-performance integrated cage body and 10 airbags helping the Exeed VX C-DM achieve a 5-Star C-NCAP crash test rating. All of this comes at an affordable starting price of 239,900 yuan ($33,085 USD) in China.
