Chevy is set to hit the market with its other more affordable electric Chevy Silverado. The brand has just revealed the new images of the electric workhorse. The electric truck has been shown at CES after its debut in January 2022.The first Work Truck (WT) edition of the electric pickup produced 510 hp and 615 lb-ft of torque was first to go on sale in late 2023.
Since then the brand has been working on the Silverado EV First-Edition RST that joined the lineup in May. It is the first fully loaded Edition RST model that packs up to 750 hp and over 785 lb-ft of torque.
Chevy said the Silverado EV LT is versatile and built for everyday use. It includes a distinct lower front bumper, exterior lighting elements, and a tech-loaded interior. It will be the more affordable trim whose only few information has been shared by the Chevy.
The upcoming electric pickup trim also features the same 17.7-inches infotainment system and 11.3-inch driver display screens as the RST edition. While the exterior LED lighting like the illuminated bowtie up front makes it more stylish.
It is built on the same platform like other GM electric vehicles Ultium Platform with extended-range battery pack that offers up to nearly 400 miles of range. You will also get the 5-inches bed that is available with Chevy’s Multi-Flex Tailgate. Another impressive option is the 22-inches machine-face aluminum wheels aero inserts.
For charging the trim come with standard DC fast charging (up to 350 kW), which GM estimates can add 100 miles in 10 minutes, which goes up to 450 miles range (GM-estimated).
However the price of the Chevy Silverado will be released close to the launch date, but it is expected that the LT will start near around $55,000 to $65,000. Further the brand also said it will launch trim levels prices at $50k (WT), $60k, $70K, and +90K (First-Edition RST).
